AACHEN, Germany, Aug. 16, 2015–Anna Kasprzak, Denmark’s top rider, pulled out of the European Championship Grand Prix Freestyle Sunday in too much pain when kicked in the chest by her Donnpeignon that broke her breast bone.

The 25-year-old rider was kicked by her Olympic and World Games mount after the veterinary check last Tuesday, but rode in both the Nations Cup to try to help Denmark earn qualification for the Olympics in Rio de Janeiro next year. The team did not succeed.

She also rode in the Grand Prix Special Saturday.
